What types of advertising are popular in
your country? In the UK probably the most common types of adverts are definitely
online. I see video adverts when I try and watch YouTube.
I see adverts when I read the news on news websites and I'm trying to read
articles. Also on TV, every 15 minutes there's an advert – it's loud, it's very
attention grabbing, and all the most popular adverts these days tend to have
an animal or a catch phrase something that really sticks in your head. As well
as that, when I wait at the train station or at a bus stop there's often a poster
advertising a new film or a new smartphone or a new piece of technology
so those are probably the most common types of adverts in the UK.
