Hi guys, this is Mark from MarkTeacher.com with an advanced IELTS speaking question and answer. This IELTS example
answer is about advertising. What types of advertising are popular in your
country? In the UK, probably the most common types of adverts are definitely
online. I see video adverts when I try and watch YouTube, I see adverts when I
read the news on news websites and I'm trying to read articles. Also on TV – every
15 minutes there's an advert! It's loud, it's very attention-grabbing,
and all the most popular adverts these days tend to have an animal or a catch
phrase – something that really sticks in your head. As well as that, when I wait at
the train station or at a bus stop there's often a poster advertising a new
film or a new smartphone or a new piece of technology.
So those are probably the
