Comcast Doubles Down On Ad-Supported Streaming With Deal For Xumo

Comcast has acquired the OTT streaming service Xumo, the companies announced Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Xumo is best known for its free, ad-supported app on platforms like Roku and Apple TV. It licenses content and other networks to create a linear-like television experience.
