Jacob Latimore official bio:

Born Jacob O’Neal Latimore, Jr. in 1996 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Latimore got his first taste of fame at a very young age, when his first single, the 2005 release “Best Friend,” was played on Radio Disney. Placed in Radio Disney’s Incubator program, he performed with fellow child artists and appeared on Maury Povich’s nationally televised talk show. Latimore and his family subsequently moved from Milwaukee to Atlanta, Georgia for the sake of advancing his budding entertainment career. His next single, “Superstar,” was co-written and co-produced by Rico Love; it peaked at number 84 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in September 2007. Additional strides were made in 2010, when Latimore signed with the Jive label and appeared in the film Vanishing on 7th Street. Even though he had inked a major recording contract, he continued to act, with appearances on the television series Read Between the Lines and The Finder. He also released a series of mixtapes, including 2009’s I Am the Future, and 2012’s This Is Me. Released in 2016, his debut album Connection included the IshDARR collaboration “The Real.” A fourth mixtape, This Is Me 3, arrived in 2019.

Advertise It lyrics:

I know you wanna tell all your friends about me
I know you wanna tell your friends about me
I know you wanna tell all your friends about me
But you don’t wanna say too much ’cause you know that’s gon’ mess us up
Girl, I know you wanna advertise it, advertise it, advertise it
It’s so good you wanna advertise it, advertise it, advertise it
I know you wanna tell all your friends about me
But I swear that’s gon’ mess us up, you know these girls be hatin’ on us way too much

Flirtin’ on the low, tryna see if I’ma go ’cause I know I’m ’bout to blow
It’s like everythin’ change, you don’t know who to blame, is it me or the fame?
See you don’t really wanna hide me and I don’t really wanna hide you
But every time we break that rule, your mind playin’ tricks on you
Like who I’m with, who sent that tweet?
You saw her Snap, how does she know me?
Why she like that pic, did I give her oh?
So tired of this, you can’t take this shit

But listen baby girl
I know you really wanna tell somebody about our love
But that’s gon’ fuck us up

I know you wanna tell all your friends about me
I know you wanna tell your friends about me
I know you wanna tell all your friends about me
But you don’t wanna say too much ’cause you know that’s gon’ mess us up
Girl, I know you wanna advertise it, advertise it, advertise it
It’s so good you wanna advertise it, advertise it, advertise it
I know you wanna tell all your friends about me
But I swear that’s gon’ mess us up, you know these girls be hatin’ on us way too much
